Lithuanian student Gabriaele Gimbutiate said she will look back on her time in the Granite City with a smile after graduating with a degree in accountancy.
Miss Gimbutiate , 23, will now be seeking fresh challenges in Edinburgh after finishing her studies at Aberdeen University.
Miss Gimbutiate, from the town of Alytus in the south of the country, said she would keep in touch with all the friends she had made and was relishing her life in Scotland.
She said: “It’s been an amazing four years and I’m so pleased and proud to have finally graduated.
“It’s been great to meet people from all different cultures and backgrounds who come to the university. I’ve made some really great friends in my time here I’ll have to keep in touch with.
“I’ve loved living in Aberdeen too, the people have been great and really friendly, I’ll miss it when I go.”
Miss Gimbutiate studied English for four years before making the journey to the UK but added her time in Aberdeen had made her fluent in the language.
She added: “I’ve definitely learned some sayings that they didn’t teach us in school.”
