Martin Masson capped four successful years as he picked up a degree in fashion management from Robert Gordon University (RGU) yesterday.
The 21-year-old from Forres said his confidence had developed immensely during his time in Aberdeen and he had learned invaluable skills from his studies.
He said: “My time at RGU has really brought me out of my shell, I’d never have described myself as a shy person per se, however, the integration of assessed presentations and group work has brought my confidence on in leaps and bounds.”
He added: “Throughout the last four years I have constantly felt what I was learning was genuinely useful and applicable in real life.”
Most importantly, during his stay in the city he made great friends.
He said: “I never would have thought coming into the course on day one that I’d have made such a strong bond with some of my classmates.
“I feel really lucky to have had the opportunity to get to know so many people through studying here.”
Mr Masson is now back in Forres and working part-time while saving up to travel to Australia next year.
He is also applying for internships as his long-term plan is to move to London to work in the fashion industry.
