The pupils performed Mary Did You Know? and Elton John’s Step Into Christmas
The concert has been a cherished fixture in the north-east for more than 50 years and after missing out due to the pandemic last year, the event was a welcome boost to the city’s social calendar.
It celebrates the talent of schoolchildren and performers around the north-east and over the past few years it has raised thousands for the Evening Express Pounds for Primaries competition.
