The National Trust for Scotland’s picturesque Castle Fraser is celebrating Halloween with a sweetie-themed event on October 29 and 30.
The organisation is hosting a series of events, inspired by the histories of its plethora of heritage sites across the country.
Castle Fraser’s range of family-friendly events includes exploring the amenity and investigating its multi-faceted history, as well as a fancy dress competition.
Entry on the day costs £8 per adult, £6 per child and family tickets are available at £24. You can buy them online at www.nts.org.uk.
A walk through the property offers visitors a sense of what life was like from medieval to Victorian times.
Highlights of the castle experience include the ancient rooms within the venue, as well as the gardens and trails around it.
The Wickedly Wonky Chocolate Challenge takes place on the last weekend of October from 11am-4pm both days.
