Busted will be visiting Aberdeen for the first time in 2017 while on their Night Driver UK tour.
The band gained fame in 2002 with What I Go To School For and became one of the biggest bands in the country. Teenagers swooned to get a ticket and parents pretended to begrudgingly accompany their offspring to gigs while secretly enjoying the boyband’s upbeat tunes.
The trio have now reunited and are bringing their years of experience together with their two-time winning Brit-Award talent. Their UK tour will be following on from the release of their first single in over a decade.
Senior Sales Manager at AECC, Anna Mackenzie, said: “This will be the first time Busted have ever visited Aberdeen on any of their tours and it is a great addition to the already fantastic line-up of events we have announced at the venue in 2017. Fans in the north-east will be delighted with this announcement ahead of the band’s eagerly anticipated third album.”
Tickets are now on sale from www.ticketmaster.co.uk/AECC or 08444 77 9000. Busted will be performing at the AECC on Friday, February 24, 2017.
