After months of waiting and re-shoot dramas, Rogue One: A Star Wars story has finally premiered.
The film was unveiled at the glittering world premiere at the Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles, with star Felicity Jones – who plays Jyn Erso – sporting a stunning floor length silver gown.
The Night Of star Riz Ahmed, who takes on the role of Bodhi Rook looked sharp in a grey suit and purple tie.
There was also a triple treat on the red carpet from Alan Tudyk, who plays K-2SO, Diego Luna, who stars as Cassian Ando, and Donnie Yen, who will be seen as Chirrut Imwe.
Things took a more ominous turn when the baddies arrived on the red carpet, starting with Ben Mendelsohn, who will soon be better known as Orson Krennic.
Mads Mikkelsen, who plays Galen Erso, also looked slightly less menacing than he does in the Star Wars prequel.
The film’s British director Gareth Edwards, best known for his work on Godzilla, was also at the premiere and eager to see the first reaction to the movie.
Fans arriving at the premiere were treated to the sight of an X-wing Starfighter parked on Hollywood Boulevard.
But the star-studded event was closely guarded by Stormtroopers.
The event was not just a big night for the stars of the movie – lots of famous dads scored points with their kids by offering up the hottest ticket in town.
Michael Douglas arrived at the event with children Dylan and Carys, just a day after celebrating his own father Kirk’s 100th birthday.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will be in cinemas on December 15.
