Switch off the television and venture down to Guild Street in Aberdeen to see the refurbished theatre in all its glory for a night of entertainment.

A Night of Comedy, this Saturday, February 18, presents an evening with three comedians who will light up the dark winter night.

Paul “Silky” White, Rob Mulholland and Monty Burns are taking to the stage for a night of variety and comic entertainment.

Paul, or “Silky” is he is known on the comedy circuit, has travelled and worked all over the world. He describes himself as a musical comedian who will “do anything to entertain the audience”.

When he was younger, he would make people laugh around the dinner table, and now he does this for his career.

“Comedy has versatility,” he said.

“You can think of a joke and then perform it later on stage. But I also have lots of things on the back burner. I like to think I have a very playful mind with a large bank to dip into.”

Paul will be taking to the stage with his guitar to entertain audiences this Saturday, along with Rob and Monty, from 8pm. Doors open at 7pm. For tickets see www.thetivolitheatre.com/what-s-on.html
