It has already been performed in more than 30 venues in four different countries, now Single Shoe Production’s touching and critically acclaimed theatre piece, Crazy Glue, is heading for Findhorn next week.
Backed by Creative Scotland and inspired by award-winning author Etgar Keret’s short story of the same name, Crazy Glue sees performers, Filipa Tomas and Bradley Wayne Smith communicating solely through sound effects and their own invented language as they tell a universal story of love and loss.
When a newly-wed couple find their flush of love has given way to the thornier terrain of married life, they discover how far they will go to fix their relationship even when it seems beyond repair. Reflecting the style of comedy of Buster Keaton combined with the madcap absurdity of Looney Tunes, Single Shoe Productions plunges into the mad, messy, sticky side of love.
It will be performed at the Universal Hall, Findhorn Creative Scotland, on Wednesday, April 19, starting at 7.30pm. Tickets priced at £10, with £8 concessions and £6 for under-16s, are available in person at the Phoenix Stores or online at www.wegottickets.com/UniversalHall
