Wrestlers from across the globe to perform in Aberdeen show

Wrestlers from across the globe are set to take to the ring at the AECC this summer.

The ‘5 Star Wrestling’ show will put wrestlers from across the world up against some of the UK’s top home-grown talent including Aberdeen’s own Scotty Swift.

The promotion will be the first in British wrestling to run a full arena tour.

Among those taking part will be former WWE wrestler John Morrison, who will defend the 5 Star Championship title against 127 men across the UK, in over 30 weeks on tour.

Anna MacKenzie, senior sales manager at the AECC said; “We are excited about offering something a little different for the North-east wrestling fans, this is the first time 5 Star wrestling has visited Aberdeen, the event follows hot on the heels of WWE NXT Live in May.

“The full roster for the show will be announced soon so fans should keep an eye on the AECC social media pages for the full announcement.”

Tickets for the show will go on sale at 10am tomorrow and can be purchased either on www.ticketmaster.com/AECC or by phoning 08444 779000.
