Quids In Theatre Company are planning a summer of drama.
To raise funds for the Edinburgh Fringe, the company are hosting a murder mystery play this weekend. Head to the Double Tree by Hilton in Aberdeen city centre on June 17 to see their Midsummer Murder Mystery.
The fundraiser is to help cover the cost of the venues at the Edinburgh Fringe. Tickets are £35 but groups can book a table of 10 for just £300. This includes a three course sit down meal, participation in the murder mystery and live entertainment.
The company are also holding a second fund raiser on Friday, July 28. The cabaret evening with stovies at the same venue will cost £15 a ticket.
Quids In from Aberdeen are hoping to take two shows to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival this August, including ‘All Cashed In’ by Annie James and Jamie Rodden and a new drama called ‘Broken’, by Annie James, which will premier at the Fringe.
‘All Cashed In’ has just returned from the Brighton Fringe where it performed to a sell out audience getting a four star review from Fringe Guru. It will be on for three weeks at Surgeon’s Hall in Edinburgh during the festival.
The other show is a new piece of writing about the relationship between a drag queen and his father. It will run for a week from August 21 to 26 at The Space on the Mile, Studio 2.
