Due to phenomenal demand, comedy farmer Jim Smith has added further dates to his Scottish tour.
He’ll bring his show Back To The Teuchter, which he describes as being a cross between Countryfile and The Only Way Is Essex, to a host of venues across the north and north-east in the autumn.
Jim will hit the stage using characters, regional accents and impressions to help explain to city slickers what the outside world looks like through the eyes of those that “bide up the glen”.
Hot topics will include internet dating for farmers, village nightlife and how to pimp your Land Rover. Suitable for both country bumpkins and dead trendy city folk.
Jim, a regular on Breaking The News, Scot Squad and The Farm Diaries, takes his show to Eden Court, Inverness, on Wednesday September 4 (01463 234234) and the Tivoli Theatre, Aberdeen, on Thursday September 5 (01224 641122). He also plays the Corran Halls, Oban, on Friday September 20 (0844 873 7353) and the Dunvegan Community Hall, Skye, on Saturday October 5 (0844 873 7353).
