A family fun day is being held to raise funds for the RNLI and the emergency services in Deeside on Sunday.
The event, in Deeside Activity Park near Aboyne, is now in its third year and raises awareness of the RNLI’s Respect the Water life-saving campaign.
Visitors on the day will be treated to a range of displays from the blue light services, including interactive attractions for youngsters.
Ken Howie, the park owner, said: “This event not only delivers a fantastic day out for the whole family but gives visitors the unique opportunity to get up close and personal to those individuals who put themselves on the front line and save lives day in and day out.
“As well as enjoying the demonstrations, guests will have the chance to chat to members of the rescue teams and learn a bit about what they do, the skills they require and the rescues they carry out.”
The event runs from noon until 4pm.
Entry is free, however, visitors are asked for a car park donation which will go towards the RNLI.
