Will Bayley drops out of Strictly due to injury

Will Bayley said he would have stayed on Strictly if he possibly could after being forced to pull out due to injury.

The Paralympian table tennis player has left the BBC show after hurting his knee during rehearsals last week.

Appearing on spin-off show It Takes Two, Bayley said his leg was “getting there”.

“It’s just not ready to dance on at all,” he said.

“If I could I really would, I really would, but it’s just not ready for it.”

ayley added: “I’m just really gutted because we had such a good run and I was loving it.

“I was absolutely loving every single second of it. I’m just gutted.

“It’s all been a bit… everything has happened so fast. So it’s like, shocking, as well.”
