You don’t have to be a child to appreciate some fairytale magic, as proven when Disney on Ice skated into Aberdeen.
The show which was held for the first time at P&J Live, celebrated 100 years of Disney magic – and what a celebration it was.
People of all ages enjoyed the incredibly talented team of skaters, as they took to the ice with some fabulous moves.
Excellent choreography was on display throughout, and my young companion was enthralled by the array of princesses.
There were more than 50 characters who made an appearance as the night unravelled, including Jasmine, Cinderella, Rapunzel, Ariel, Snow White and Tiana.
From sequins to flowing dresses, there was no shortage of wonderful costumes either.
The fun sequence for Finding Nemo was particularly impressive and Dory was encouraged to “just keep swimming” by the excited audience.
The lovable Mickey Mouse encouraged everyone to get involved and soon had people clapping along to some classic Disney hits.
Some lucky youngsters even got the opportunity to go out on the ice, and were clearly spellbound by the experience.
The cast of Toy Story 4 also made their debut and helped teach Forky what it means to be a toy.
You couldn’t help but get goose bumps as the cast performed The Circle of Life, proving that some good old Disney magic is still going strong today.
