Strictly Come Dancing’s Live Tour will be waltzing into Aberdeen’s P&J Live this week.
Coming to the north-east for the first time, the shows on Tuesday and Wednesday are billed to be a huge hit with locals.
The glamorous couples taking part include social media sensation Saffron Barker and AJ Pritchard, EastEnders actress Emma Barton and Graziano Di Prima, BBC Breakfast’s Mike Bushell and Katya Jones, actor Kelvin Fletcher and Janette Manrara, Sky Sports presenter Alex Scott and Neil Jones, actress Catherine Tyldesley and Johannes Radebe, CBBC presenter Karim Zeroual and Amy Dowden.
The sparkling line-up of celebrities and professional dancers will be joined by reigning Strictly champion and new host Stacey Dooley.
Judges Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood and Bruno Tonioli will also be in attendance as will professional dancers Luba Mushtuk, Karen Hauer, Dianne Buswell, Joshua Keefe, Jake Leigh and Robbie Kmetoni.
Showcasing the choreography and live music that Strictly is known for, audiences will experience a host of dance routines guaranteed to leave them reeling and roaring for more.
They also decide who wins the coveted Glitterball Trophy at the end of each show by voting via text for their favourite couple.
Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming shows.
What time does the event kick off?
Doors open at 6pm. The show starts at 7.30pm and will finish at 10pm approximately.
For the matinee performance on Wednesday, doors will open at 1pm, the show will start at 2.30pm and will finish approximately at 5pm.

How do I get there?
Venue bosses are urging people to use public transport.
Stagecoach and First standard services will run through the event complex daily, please check their websites for the most up to date services and times. Pricing and more details can be accessed here.
Stagecoach’s JET 727 service can also take you to the gig from Union Square serving Broad Street, Kitty Brewster, Great Northern Road and Bucksburn. Find full Jet 727 timetable here.
Stagecoach PJ1 shuttle service departs from Stance 14 at Union Square bus station from 12:30pm for the afternoon 2:30pm performance on Wednesday 22nd January and 5:30pm for the evening performances at 7:30pm on Tuesday 21st and Wednesday 22nd January and operates direct to P&J Live every 15 minutes. Buses will also be available back to the city centre after the show is finished running approximately every 5 minutes. A single ticket to/from the city centre is £2.60 or a return £3.80. Park and Ride: The PJ4 Craibstone Park and Ride to P&J Live. This will be every 20 minutes from 18:00 for the evening shows and every 20 minutes from 13:00 on the afternoon shows. The ticket prices will be £2 for a return.
Following the event they will be departing from the Hilton Car park every 20 minutes following the event end.

Car: If you do choose to drive, the two entry points are Dyce Drive and the A96 southbound only (heading to the city centre), as other points are bus gates only. On exit you may exit via any three points at Dyce Drive, A96 and Wellheads Drive. You can park either in the Sub-T (underground) or the overground car park.
Drop Off and Pick Up: If you are dropping off or picking someone from an event, please note maximum wait time is 30 minutes. Parking charges will apply if your car is within the complex outwith 30 minutes.
Taxi: There is a taxi pick-up and drop-off point located on the P&J Live site, as well as a dedicated taxi rank in operation during major events.
What about security?
P&J Live takes visitor safety seriously and has a zero tolerance policy on drugs, smoking inside, flares and smoke devices. No large handbags and no backpacks are permitted. Please see full listing of venue rules here.
Will alcohol and food be available?
There will be lots of catering options available for customers to enjoy within the venue throughout the evening. Drinks cannot be brought along to the event. All bars, kiosks and restaurants accept card payments, this is more efficient, safe and ensures a speedy transaction. There are therefore no cash machines on the TECA site.
Are there any age limits?
Under 14s must be accompanied by an adult over 18.
