We’re now half way through the latest series of The Great British Bake-off and it has had its fair share of controversy this year.
Between the ‘Baked Alaska incident’, Diana departing due to ill-health and not to mention BBC editing being blamed for vilifying certain bakers – it’s been a turbulent few weeks in the bake-off tent!
Very few shows generate such excitement on social media and Twitter is the first port of call for many to vent their views on the show.
So here’s a round-up of some of the best reaction during today’s show as the bakers tackle the pies and tarts round.

Oh god, the ideal bake time is 25 minutes but none of the pears are yet wrapped in pastry. This situation could not get any worse #gbbo
