Roman Kemp and his girlfriend open up about the future of their relationship

Roman Kemp and his partner have said they are looking ahead to their future, which will involve marriage and children.

Following his stint in the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! jungle, radio DJ Kemp said that having a family would be a “natural progression” for him and girlfriend Anne-Sophie Flury, although they are not ready just yet.

Kemp, 26, told Hello! magazine: “I knew I wanted to be with Soph on our first date.

“We’re both very family-orientated so marriage and kids is a natural progression for us.”

He added: “But before any of that, we want to focus on having fun, exploring the world and making memories.

“Every time I see a child, I get broody. Soph is so good with kids and you notice those things when you’re in a relationship.”

Kemp, the son of Spandau Ballet star Martin Kemp and former Wham! backing singer Shirlie, has been with neuroscientist and entrepreneur Flury since 2018.

Flury said that she “knew pretty quickly” that she loved Kemp after striking up their romance.

She added: “I wasn’t looking to be emotionally invested but it just happened. After a couple of weeks, we both knew.”

She said that she was not too bothered by Kemp’s “jungle heart-throb” status while he took part in the ITV jungle series, in which he came third place.

“I know the attention isn’t going to impact our relationship,” Flury said.

“I’ve never had any worries – he’s always always made me feel secure and confident in our relationship.”
