An invasion of other worldly creatures and some famous faces descended on P&J Live today as Aberdeen’s Comic Con got into full swing.

Stars from shows such as Doctor Who and Stranger Things and movies like Back To The Future mingled with adoring fans in the two-day celebration of popular culture.

However, Comic Con Scotland (North East) isn’t just a chance for people to meet their screen idols. It is also an opportunity for them to dress up in homage to their favourite characters from science fiction to anime.

It created a fantastic atmosphere and an opportunity for visitors to browse stalls, meet stars and explore fascinating film sets and props.

Our photographer Wullie Marr was on hand to capture the special day and the buzz of excitement.

Take a look at our great gallery and see if you spot any famous or familiar faces – or even yourself.
