A Highland book festival is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a cast of top novelists.
The Ullapool Book Festival will take place between May 11 and 13 and will welcome an array of guests including Canadian author, playwright and actor Anne-Marie MacDonald, Denise Mina, and actor David Hayman.
The festival will be split into a number of categories including non-fiction and fiction novels as well as poetry and music the by Cask Strength Ceilidh Band.
The winner of the Highland Book Prize will be announced at a session on the Saturday evening, followed by a reading from, and interview with, the winning writer. The four shortlisted writers will all read a piece from their books at a free Saturday morning session.
