Hardback by Away With Media, £19.95
Claire Bosi and Petrie Hosken are sisters, mums and career women. When the girls grew up, one learned to cook and the other did not. Remarkably, the one who did not, Claire, went on to co-found twin Michelin-starred restaurant, Hibiscus.
Claire now cooks every day, feeding her daughter, Paige, who is featured in the book. Petrie, an award-wining journalist and broadcaster, is also passionate about cooking.
Together they’ve created a cookbook aimed at children and adults, one which offers a fun approach to food and served with a good dollop of education, recipes and information about how food gets from the farm to the fork.
The book has contributions from well-known chefs including Marcus Wareing and Tom Kerridge and has a raft of interesting recipes, each of which has a difficulty level rating.
With a raft of trivia pages, tips and advice, this is a book that will help spark a lifelong interest in food in youngsters.
