The LaFontaines are the latest big name band to be announced for next year’s Groove Cairngorm music festival.
It will be the Motherwell band’s second consecutive year playing at the popular music event which is based in Aviemore.
Thousands are expected to descend on the Highland town for for a fun-filled weekend of snowsports and music following the success of this year’s inaugural event.
The apres-ski music event will take place at Badaguish Outdoor Centre, in the heart of Glenmore forest, on February 24 and 25 next year.
As well as playing Groove earlier this year, The Lafontaines performed on the main stage at Belladrum 2016.
They will join headliners Basement Jaxx for the winter spectacle, along with an eclectic mix of other talented bands and artists including Craig Charles Funk & Soul Club, house duo Blonde and a DJ set from Mike Skinner of The Streets.
Caroline Campbell of Groove Cairngorm said: “We are really excited to have The Lafontaines returning to Groove next year, they put on an incredible show last time around and we are sure this time will be no different.”
Tickets are now on sale at £140 for a three-day weekend of mountain snowsports and apres-ski performances, £115 for just Friday and Saturday, £65 for the two-day apres-ski entertainment only or £35 for one day apres-ski.
Free shuttle buses will be running between Aviemore, Cairngorm mountain and Badaguish throughout the weekend to all ticket holders.
Return buses will also operate between Inverness and the festival.
