Saturday is Valentine’s Day and, at the Ironworks, Inverness, there will be a lot of love in the air as fans of the music of Dire Straits get ready to welcome on stage Money For Nothing.
Formed 15 years ago as a tribute to Dire Straits, regarded as one of the world’s premier rock bands, the band bring all the energy and musical skills of the original band to the stage. Fronting Money For Nothing is brilliant guitarist and Mark Knopfler sound-alike Aled Williams. Behind him, the lineup features top-class and experienced musicians that make them a worthy tribute band.
The Money For Nothing stage show has been performed all over the world and fans heading for the show on Saturday night can expect to dance the night away to hits such as Sultans of Swing, Brothers in Arms, Walk of Life and Money For Nothing, which, incidentally, was the first video to be played on MTV.
The show starts at 7pm on Saturday, February 14, with tickets for unreserved seating priced at £12. Contact 0871 789 4173 or visit www.ironworksvenue.com
