Fans of the 2017 musical hit The Greatest Showman will be able to sing along to their favourite songs at a special screening of the film in Aberdeen this summer.
The Tivoli theatre will host two showings of the movie on June 13, featuring special effects to “bring the film to life in a theatre setting” and lyrics on screen so the audience can join in.
The movie is inspired by the story of Phineas Taylor Barnum, better known as PT Barnum, the founder of the Barnum and Bailey Circus, and stars Hugh Jackman, Zac Efron and Rebecca Ferguson.
Particularly devoted fans of the movie have been encouraged to dress up as their favourite characters from the movie for the Tivoli screening.
A spokesman for Backstage Cinema, the organisers of the show, said: “We are extremely excited to be bringing such a big event to Aberdeen.
“The Greatest Showman is a smash-hit and the soundtrack is loved the world over.
“As well as being an incredible film, we know many people enjoy the music just as much.
“This event gives fans of the film the chance to relive one of the greatest movies of the modern era while singing along to their hearts’ content.
“This show makes for a real feel-good evening and we are certain it will put a smile on your face.”
