A small group of art students will host an exhibition next week highlighting and predicting what the future holds for an under-threat Moray museum.
Future Falconer is an exhibition by a team of masters students from the Glasgow School of Art who have worked alongside the Friends of the Falconer to investigate the future of the Falconer Museum.
The site is under threat due to Moray Council budget cuts, so the project will look at what a small-town museum in Scotland is and could be.
The Victorian heritage of the museum, as well as the story of the Falconer brothers, are critically examined and translated into a new, contemporary context.
They will be asking what stories should be told and how can they be preserved and showcased to the public.
The exhibition aims to open up a discussion about how the Falconer may again become a centre point for the community, and an example of what a modern museum can look like in the north of Scotland and beyond.
It takes place at the Falconer Museum from May 17 until May 28.
