A young Aberdeen artist is is in the running to win a national competition.
Natan Trojanowski has been named as a finalist for Scotland in the BIC Kids Young Artist Award after impressing judges with his colourful image of space.
The 10-year-old’s work was picked out of nearly 1,500 entries by five to 11-year-olds from across the UK and Ireland.
Natan’s entry is now on a billboard and posters around the region, and members of the public are being urged to cast their votes for it to win by Sunday.
Once the public has decided who will be crowned the overall champion for the award, , the winner will get their design on another large billboard and posters put up across the country. They will also enjoy a party for up to 10 friends.
Illustrator and judge for this year’s campaign, Phil Corbett said: ““We are delighted to crown Natan as our regional finalist for Scotland.
“I love the background pattern of the purple cosmos in the picture and especially love the detail of the satellites orbiting the earth – science and art combined.
“We were wowed by the quality of his submission and we hope that becoming a regional winner encourages Natan to continue developing his natural talent and technical ability”.
