Comedian Alan Carr will play two dates in Aberdeen as part of an upcoming tour later this year.
The much-loved television star will take his Not Again, Alan! show to the Music Hall on September 10 and 11.
The English 43-year-old promises he has collected plenty of new material in the four years since his last tour.
His three previous UK solo tours have all sold-out and went on to be top selling DVDs too.
On top of completing 16 series of his Bafta-winning Channel 4 chat show Alan Carr Chatty Man, he has more recently hosted The Price Is Right, I Don’t Like Mondays and Alan Carr’s Happy Hour.
He also featured as a judge on RuPaul’s DragRace UK, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown and Celebrity Bake Off Stand Up To Cancer Special.
Aberdeen Performing Arts director of programming and creative projects, Ben Torrie, said: “Alan Carr is used to selling out arenas up and down the country, so to have him at the Music Hall is a coup for us and very exciting.
“It’s a great chance to get up close and personal with one of the UK’s most loved comedians.”
Alan Carr joins Paul Weller, Twin Atlantic and Jimmy Carr in playing the historic Music Hall, which recently underwent a £9 million refurbishment, this year.
