The fabulous views across Loch Earn from The Four Seasons Hotel are one of the reasons so many visitors are attracted there.
Now there’s even more cause to stop at the hotel in St Fillans, Perthshire – a fantastic art installation, entitled Still, a stand-alone figure which stands in the shallow banks of the loch.
It’s not the first time the hotel has dipped its toes into the world of art.
Last year, it had on loan four mirrored figures created by artist, sculpture and photographer Rob Mulholland.
It was such a success the hotel has installed Rob’s latest sculpture, Still, which will become a permanent figure.
Covered in mirrors, it’s a striking form which appears to continually change, reflecting the light, rippling water, rocks on the beach and the ever changing Scottish weather.
Hotel owner Andrew Low said: “After the positive reaction we got from Rob Mulholland’s last installation, we knew that our visitors would be ecstatic to hear we have purchased a new figure from the extremely talented Scottish artist.
“The hotel already benefits from outstanding views which the new addition only adds to.”
