Around 10,000 people have raised a glass to the return of Brewdog’s AGM event as it took place for the first time in-person today since 2019.
Equity Punk shareholders who secured themselves tickets were in attendance at Hazlehead Park as James Watt and Martin Dickie took to the stage around 2pm to formally welcome everyone.
The beers were flowing as thousands of people enjoyed live music from a variety of band with performances from Miss Lucid, The Capollos, La Fontaines, Mystery Jets and The Zutons all taking place today.
There was also an array of street food options available with a huge offering from Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire businesses.
Some of the vendors included vegan junk food van Roots Catering, the award-winning The Bay Fish and Chips from Stonehaven, Mexican food firm Muchacho and Project Pizza were there firing up a variety of pizzas for festivalgoers.
16 food trucks with multiple options were there to be enjoyed, with most if not all dietary requirements covered.
As well as having beer tents where punters could enjoy a range of the brand’s beer and other breweries offerings from across the world, there was also a Brewdog Distilling area where guests could sample and purchase the firm’s spirits. These included various versions of their gin, vodka and rum to name a few.
People travelled from all over, with some coming from England, the Scottish borders and the Highlands to be a part of the event.
Shareholders also got to take a plus one with them and everyone was given a £20 voucher to use on beer. There was no cash purchases at the event, with only card available.
