A series of collaborative performances between Scottish and Norwegian musicians is being organised by Aberdeen Performing Arts (APA).
Over three nights in three different months, audiences will be treated to showcase by Norwegian artists such as Ingeborg P Bodzioch and Sigrid Moldestad, in addition to Scottish musicians such as Karine Polwart.
The series will also feature presentations about Norwegian traditions and artists, and the links between Scotland and Norway.
The three nights of music and culture, named Northern Arc, will take place on February 7, April 3 and June 27 at the Music Hall in Aberdeen.
Susan Whyte, the producer for Northern Arc, said: “Northern Arc reflects the strong cultural links between Scotland and Norway and all the musicians chosen to share the bill by the Scots in this series are Norwegian musicians, all of them bringing something different to the stage.”
Tickets are available now by calling Aberdeen Box Office on 01224 641122.
