Aberdeen Performing Arts has announced a new season of shows at the Music Hall and His Majesty’s Theatre (HMT).
A new stage production of the blockbuster movie the Shawshank Redemption will take place from October 12-17 at HMT.
The venue will also host a run of the classic thriller Rebecca from October 26-31 and An Inspector Calls from March 8-12, 2016.
Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, one of the biggest new West End musicals, will be coming to HMT from February 9-13, 2016.
Musicals heading Aberdeen’s way include Jesus Christ Superstar, from November 10-14, Priscilla Queen of the Desert from Feb 29-March 5, 2016 and Avenue Q from March 29-April 2, 2016.
One of the world’s most-beloved classical violinists and an Aberdeen favourite, Nicola Bennedetti, also returns to the Music Hall on September 20.
