A popular art gallery and museum have been handed a funding boost by Museums Galleries Scotland.
Aberdeen City Council will receive £60,000 to install a large, interactive multi-touch video that will allow visitors to Aberdeen Art Gallery to explore the collection in a hands on way.
Meanwhile, The Highland Museum of Childhood Trust in Strathpeffer has been awarded £21,900.
The museum is housed in a Victorian Railway station and money will be used to refurbish the canopy to its original state.
During the project the museum will run community workshops to research the history of the station.
