VIDEO: Can you ever have too many meerkats in your garden?

Pensioner Bob Carnell has transformed his front garden into a Meerkat Manor with more than 40 ornaments of the cute creatures proving a hit with passers-by.

The 72-year-old’s epic collection of porcelain figures includes baby meerkats sporting dummies to the cute animal holding pairs of boxing gloves.

Despite decorating the garden for his enjoyment, Meerkat mad Bob does get the odd request from admiring spectators to add to his collection.

Bob, of Kilton, near Worksop, Derbys., said: “I got told off by a three-year-old who knocked on my door to ask why I didn’t have a Robin Hood one – so I went out and got it.”
