The National Trust for Scotland’s stunning Pitmedden Garden will play host to a vibrant all-age music festival this weekend.
The weekend will comprise an eclectic mix of musical genres, from steel band to string orchestra, including The Black Isle Rock Orchestra, Shetland duo Trig Bag, nine-piece band Silver City Soul Revue and Irish music, both traditional and contemporary, from Dallahan.
Festival director Angie Stemp strives to create fun for the whole family. She said: “We want to bring the community together, so that everyone from toddlers to older people can have a great time listening to live music in a beautiful setting.”
The festival runs today and tomorrow, with tickets starting at £5 and free entry for children. To find out more, or buy tickets, visit www.pitmeddenmusicfestival.com or go to the festival’s Facebook page: www.facebook.com/pitmeddenmusicfestival
