The joy of movement will be celebrated with a series of dance events throughout Aberdeen this summer.
The Get Scotland Dancing programme – a national dance campaign which forms part of the Glasgow 2014 Cultural Programme – aims to inspire people of all ages.
Highlights of the Aberdeen programme include the 24-hour Commonwealth Ceilidh, which takes place this Saturday21 June at the Music Hall at 7.30pm; an outdoor
screening of Dirty Dancing at Union Terrace Gardens on Saturday, July 5; AIYF Vivaldi Four Seasons project at HM Theatre on Sunday, July 20, plus a host of pop-up events and free taster dance classes.
The Aberdeen programme is presented in partnership with regional dance hub Citymoves.
