Who: Scooty and the Skyhooks – the ever-popular 11-piece soul and Motown party band – played to a 550-strong crowd at the Ross-shire venue.
Why: The sold-out event celebrated the 10th anniversary of the pavilion’s restoration by recreating the famous Strath dances of the 1960s and ’70s.
The night kicked off with a set by young Highland band S#arp Exit. The stars of the evening were Scooty & The Skyhooks, who played their first-ever gig at the pavilion. The band noted their pride at following in the footsteps of previous performers at the venue such as Deacon Blue and the Kaiser Chiefs.
