What: Hawkhill House annual garden party.

Where: Hawkhill House Nursing Home, Milltimber.

Who: During a week of live performances – culminating in the much-anticipated annual garden party attended by the Lord Provost of Aberdeen George Adam – residents, families, staff and Friends of Hawkhill enjoyed a celebration of home-grown talent thanks to award-winning representatives of the World Burns Federation. International musical talent was also showcased, thanks to visits by artists who took part in the 2014 Aberdeen International Youth Festival.

Why: Hawkhill House Nursing Home is Aberdeen’s only independent, privately-owned nursing home. It is headed by owner and managing director Rona Tayler who is a long-term supporter of youth music thanks to her commitment to a variety of initiatives and organisations.
