What: The fourth British Airways Aberdeen Flying Start Charity Ball.
Where: Thistle Hotel, Aberdeen Airport.
Who: Almost 200 guests attended the event, including Dame Anne Begg, MP for Aberdeen South, Sir Malcolm Bruce, MP for Gordon and deputy Lord Provost of Aberdeen councillor John Reynolds.
Why: The ball raised £20,000 for British Airways Flying Start initiative in support of the airline’s charity partner Comic Relief.
The three previous Aberdeen Flying Start Balls have raised almost £40,000.
In total, British Airways Flying Start initiative has raised £8.15million since the partnership with Comic Relief began in 2010.
Guests were welcomed by Denize McGregor, head of customer service and operations for British Airways in Europe, Africa, South America and the domestic operation in Scotland and England.
