Who: Seven hundred members of the north-east business community attended the Question of Sport-style quiz, which was supported by platinum sponsor Simmons and Company International and gold sponsors Derrick Offshore, CNR and Viking SeaTech.
The team from Ernst & Young lifted the Sportschallenge Cup on the night.
Why: The black-tie event, which was hosted by former Scottish footballer Alan McInally and Sky Sports presenter Jim White, raised £110,000.
The money will be split between five charities – Maggie’s Aberdeen, Choices Aberdeen, Aberdeen Cyrenians, Mental Health Aberdeen and Children’s Aid (Scotland).
