What: The annual Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce Northern Star awards
Where: Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre
Who: More than 800 guests attended the event to see the 14 winners receive their awards. Winner of the lifetime achievement award was Sir Ian Wood, who delivered a call to arms to the business community in his acceptance speech.
Host Fiona Armstrong kept the event running smoothly and the evening drew to a close with Inoapps being crowned Business of the Year.
Why: The event raised nearly £7,000 for five local charities – Aberdeen Cyrenians, Glencraft, MacMillan, Shopmobility and Somebody Cares – raised through the generous donations by attendees.
