Whether you are aged six or 60, there’s something about sharks that is absolutely fascinating.
From this Saturday, October 11, until Sunday, October 26, there’s an opportunity to learn more about these remarkable creatures when Macduff Marine Aquarium hosts its shark season.
The event also aims to challenge some of the myths about sharks and demonstrate how sharks have played an important part in the lives of humans throughout the centuries.
During the season, visitors can hear illustrated talks, follow sharky trails, art and games, along with the aquarium’s scheduled feed and dive shows.
There are also daily interactive shark science workshops which will look at sharks inside and out to explore how they survive in our oceans, what makes them different from other fish and what role they have played in the lives of people around the world.
