What: Aberdeen Communications Group’s ‘Tuxedos and Tiaras’ Media Ball
Where: The Chester Hotel, Aberdeen
Who: More than 120 professionals working in media, public relations, corporate communications, marketing, advertising, design and events, came together for an evening of entertainment compered by broadcast journalist, Alan Jenkins.
Why: Now in its 21st year, Aberdeen Communications Group currently has more than 200 members – the largest in the group’s history. Run by a small committee of volunteers, the group provides training and networking opportunities for communications professionals in the area on a not-for-profit basis.
Guests were welcomed to the event with a drinks reception and music from local singer, Lewis Fraser. Following a four-course dinner, guests enjoyed entertainment from Callanish and local radio DJ, Aylissa Boyce. The ball also raised funds for Scottish children’s charity, Aberlour and the RNLI Lifeboats
