Who: The formal dining event featured a line-up of top sporting figures, including the night’s host, BBC Sportscene’s Rob Maclean, and the speakers for the evening, football legend Archie Gemmill and Team GB chief, Scottish curler Mike Hay.
Why: The first ever Sporting Dinner was held to raise money for Highland Hospice’s Project Build Appeal. On the evening, which raised £30,000 AMOUNT to be confirmed so just leave a space for the appeal, an auction was held with a wide range of sporting packages and memorabilia up for grabs, including a round of golf with ICTFC manager John Hughes and assistant manager Russel Latapy, hospitality at a Celtic Europa League match with a trip on the pitch and a luxury stay for eight at Denfind House.
