What: The Aberdeen Civic Society awards ceremony
Where: The Town and County Hall, Aberdeen Town House
Who: More than 100 representatives of property owners, developers, architectural firms, contractors and Aberdeen Town Council along with invited guests and members of Aberdeen Civic Society attended the awards ceremony.
Why: The annual event gives the Society the opportunity to highlight the achievements of individuals and organisations that greatly contribute to the city’s built environment and public amenity.
The awards ceremony runs with the kind support of Aberdeen Town Council, represented on this occasion by Councillor Ramsay Milne. Awards were presented by the chairman of the Society, Mr Dominic Fairlie.
The occasion commenced with the chairman presenting an insight to the process of selection, opinions and observations considered by the awards committee when considering the nominations received throughout the past twelve months.
