What: The Autumn Ball, sponsored by BP, in aid of The ARCHIE Foundation, CLIC Sargent and Maggie’s Aberdeen.

Where: Mercure Ardoe House Hotel and Spa
The hotel also sponsored a drinks reception

Who: More than 250 people attended the event, with 25 companies hosting tables, including Wood Group PSN, Amec, Simmons International and Santander.
The special guests were Emily and Michelle Findlay. Emily, 19, from Orkney, has a rare form of cancer. She allowed her story to be shared on the night, and she and her mother were guests of honour at the top table with Trevor Garlick, regional president, BP North Sea, who also hosted the event.

Why: The ball was held to support young people living with cancer and their families in the north-east of Scotland.

The evening raised over an incredible £75,000 and the night consisted of a Heads and Tails game and silent and main auctions, the latter being led by Alex Fleming.

All three charities would like to say a huge special thanks to BP for sponsoring the ball and to all the companies and individuals who generously supported the event.
