Who: Five hundred and fifty individuals from oil and gas organisations throughout Aberdeen attended the event. Awards were presented by Lisa Duthie of Cornerstone, Robert Paterson of Oil & Gas UK and Scotland Commonwealth Games medallist Vio Etko.

Why: The Sports Awards Ball is the culmination of the ActivityMix Corporate Decathlon and Corporate Pentathlon 2014 – active employee engagement programmes designed to engage, inspire and enthuse teams. The event rewards and recognises teams and individuals who have achieved success through the season. Awards on the night included the Charity Challenge Award, Player’s Player award, and Captain of the Year. The overall winning teams were Shell for League 1 of the Corporate Decathlon; Atkins for League 2 of the Corporate Decathlon; and Costain won the Corporate Pentathlon
