What: CLAN Cancer Support’s Christmas Cracker ball

Who: Kind-hearted individuals and businesses came together to raise hundreds of thousands of pounds at the leading cancer support charity’s annual Christmas event.
Why: More than £130,000 was raised at CLAN’s Christmas Cracker ball, which has become the charity’s biggest fundraising event of the year, with all funds raised going towards the charity’s provision of free support services to anyone affected by cancer across north-east Scotland, Moray, Orkney and Shetland.
Guests at the Dolphin Drilling sponsored event at the AECC were treated to a three-course meal and put their best bids forward for the silent auction, while also enjoying a tombola.
