Scottish property consultancy Galbraith has expanded its residential team in Inverness as the firm enjoys continued success.
It is the largest and leading rural consultancy in Scotland and the North of England managing farm, forestry and woodland, land and estate interests on over 3.5 million acres.
The firm provides the full range of property consultancy services across the commercial, residential, rural, natural capital and renewable energy sectors.
New recruits
Among the new recruits are estate agent Thomas Jones, who brings with him 17 years of experience in estate agency in the Highlands and sales administrator Jenifer Kerr, who has moved back to the region after a period working away.
Ginette Bentley has returned to Galbraith as sales negotiator to lead the administrative function for property sales in Inverness.
Phiddy Robertson, head of estate agency for Inverness and the Highland region said: “We pride ourselves on offering an exceptional service, based on an in-depth understanding of estate agency in the Highlands and a genuine desire to do the very best for our clients.
“These new members of staff will benefit from the opportunity to develop their careers in a growing business and I am delighted to be working with them.”
Galbraith reports that the property market has experienced a period of frenetic activity over the past two years, as buyers sought homes with more space and a better quality of life.
All styles catered for
From remote crofts untouched by modern farming methods, to charming village houses and contemporary coastal homes, sales have covered the breadth of the Highlands and Islands and all styles of property.
In addition to residential sales, the Inverness office also provides a wide range of property services including rural management, forestry, building surveying, land and estate sales and residential lettings.
Galbraith handles the sale of residential property valued at £72 million on average per quarter in Scotland and the north of England.
Headquartered in Edinburgh, the firm was established in 2003 but its roots stretch back to 1765.
The independent property consultancy has offices in Aberdeen, Inverness, Edinburgh, Ayr, Blagdon, Castle Douglas, Cupar, Elgin, Hexham, Kelso, Penrith, Perth and Stirling, and consultants based in Argyll, Stranraer and Galashiels.
