What: The ACCA Scotland annual members’ network dinner in Aberdeen.
Where: The Chester Hotel, Queen’s Road.
Who: Organised by ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) – the global body for professional accountants – the flagship event is the largest of its kind in Aberdeen. Around 100 accountancy and finance professionals from across the north-east gathered to celebrate the sector’s achievements over the past year.
Why: The black tie event welcomed professional golfer and fashion entrepreneur Christian MacLeod as keynote speaker. Entertainment was provided by BAFTA award-winning actress and comedienne, Jane McCarry – best known for her role as Isa in the BBC’s Still Game. The event was once again sponsored by Aberdeen-based recruitment specialists Right People.
