Who: More than 200 guests including whisky experts, writers, distillery personnel, festival guests and festival goers attended the event. Nicky Marr, multi-talented broadcaster and writer, led the evening, and Sandy Strang, journalist, amateur sportsman and former Wag of the Year, provided after-dinner entertainment.
Why: Held on the eve of the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival, the Touch of Tartan Dinner celebrated the start of the 16th annual festival, which brings whisky lovers from all over the world to Speyside. The five-day festival took place from April 30 to May 4, and featured around 400 events across the Speyside region.
