What: Ernst & Young (EY) Aberdeen hosted a ceilidh to kick-start its fundraising campaign, with all proceeds being split between Aberdeen Football Club (AFC) Community Trust and the EY Foundation.
Where: Pittodrie Stadium, Aberdeen.
Who: Around 170 members of the business community joined EY staff, family and friends including George Yule, AFC chairman, Duncan Skinner, chairperson of AFC Community Trust, and Derek Leith, senior partner, EY Aberdeen. The key guests of honour were AFC Community Trust mascot Donny the Sheep and AFC mascot Angus the Bull.
Why: Ceilidh band Bahookie provided the music on the night, and funds were raised through an auction, raffle, heads and tails and donations to see EY director Kevin Duthie become Donny the Sheep. £4,500 was raised on the night.
